This is what abfielder.com looks like without those pesky adverts. Pesky as they may be though they pay for the running costs and the development work. Unfortunately it turns out that a website in this niche earns less than $1 per 1000 adverts.

As abfielder.com grows the website is starting to get slower, I am constantly refining the code, better sql queries, less sql queries etc… to keep it running in tip top shape. I’m into diminishing returns though and sooner rather than later we’ll need to upgrade to a beefier server.

With that in mind I’ve now integrated patreon membership with abfielder.com . Simply become a website supporter for £3 a month ($3 I believe for US users) and then head into your profile in the top right corner on abfielder.com and sign in using the “login with patreon” button and voila no more adverts, on top of that you’ll get a mention in the credits of my youtube videos.
